Pristina, Kosovo
This imperious 40-storeys tower, standing approximately 200m tall, is an ambitious mixed-used development, Part of the development for the Lakhriste district in Pristina, Kosovo.
The Flame Tower includes a mix of residential and commercial spaces alongside new shops and cafes, and rooftop gardens with spectacular views.
Taking advice from specialist wind consultants who provided performance criteria and wind tunnel test results, we undertook “optioneering” activities on several different structural systems. This included the introduction of outriggers to reduce the lateral deflection.
Once the scheme has been chosen, advanced structural analyses have bene performed leading to the executive design delivered.
Construction works have started and (as of November 2022) excavations have been completed after the realization of the retaining structures.
